Join us for an evening of music, poetry, and creative expression at Karma House Community Wellness Center as we gather for our next Open Mic Night, featuring local poet and author Lissa as our MC and featured artist.
Lissa is a 26-year-old poet from Galesburg, Michigan whose writing is raw, honest, and deeply human. She uses poetry as a vital outlet for navigating mental health, body image, and grief—offering words that resonate with vulnerability, courage, and lived experience. Her work creates space for truth-telling and connection, reminding us that creativity can be both medicine and mirror.
As our MC, Lissa will help guide the evening with care and presence, holding space for performers and listeners alike.
Open Mic Night is open to everyone—bring your gifts and talents to share, or come simply to listen, witness, and connect in community.
