Our feature this week is Genie Santiago, coming to us in person!
Described as spiritual, sensual, and socio-political, Genie Santiago (she/they) is a musician, writer, Holistic Life Coach based out of Greater Boston. Emerging from rough beginnings, their art draws from their experience growing up as a Queer Indigenous Latine and a trauma survivor. Their life and identity have inspired their mission to use their art to empower others to overcome trauma, decolonize the mind, promote sexual freedom, and stray from the ideals of self-hatred that society places upon us. Genie uses their art and platform to amplify the needs of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and marginalized voices of their community.
