About this Event
The Format
3:30pm - 4:00pm is sign up. Starting at 4:00pm each act will get time for 2 original songs and we will go down the list until we run out of time at 6:00pm. Spectators welcome. Bring your friends.
What to Bring
Bring your guitar/keyboard and original material. If you have a backing track, please email it to me ahead of time at [email protected].
What kind of acts are welcome?
- Musical acts with original material only.
- Solo or duo acts only.
- Keep it clean (it's a family place)
- Hiphop/rap acts encouraged! There's not enough of it in Austin.
Keep in mind I have 4 inputs max. 2 mics and 2 guitar/keyboard. I can also do a backing track. If you need a backing track, please send it to me in advance at [email protected] so I can keep the event running smoothly.
The Space
Thicket Food Park is my favorite food truck park in Austin. It has tons of options and a great family environment. They have graciously let us use their stage so I hope everyone enjoys the park, patronizes the trucks and comes back time and time again. <3
