We've been running this session since 2017 and it's become one of Pembrokeshire's best open mics! The Sun Inn makes up for its tiny size with a huge but intimate atmosphere, complete with banter... and the odd bit of heckling. Many of our regulars play covers, but originals are always welcome.An acoustic guitar and a bass are provided, but feel free to bring your own instrument. Getting a great sound is our top priority, so if you're bringing an instrument without a pickup or a suitable mic, we can't guarantee that you'll be heard over the background noise - we'll try our best but it can get pretty rowdy when the drinks start flowing!
We don't do lists, so you're not limited to 2 songs or 10 minutes by default! Instead, we decide set length and performance slot on the night, depending on how busy it is and who's there.

We're also running a weekly Sunday open mic, just down the road at The Plough Inn, Sageston. That session runs 4-7pm so it's a bit more relaxed - perfect for trying out your originals or taking to the stage for the first time.
