His former Toronto open stage became so successful that he curated annual "best of" showcases at Toronto’s Winterfolk Festival. He started in rock bands before jazz college opened the door to fronting a 15-piece “big band soul” outfit. These days, Dan balances acoustic soul covers with his original material.
