Come new come old! - MixMatched is hosting its last ever 'regular' spoken word/open mic night... before the lovely Adam Dorr will be taking over as main host, and the set-up will change a little!

So, as usual, anyone can perform! - we offer five-minute slots and accept performances in ANY genre! (experimental, poetry, music, song, dance, storytelling, speech, comedy, burlesque, art/visual...) and our OPTIONAL theme is 'Reincarnations and New Beginnings'.
We are a very friendly community, our nights have now been running for three years :D - and this will be a celebration of our achievements. As always, our night is Neurodivergent+ friendly (myself, Alice and Adam are all Autistic, so it's Neurodivergent+ led too!) and we also aim to be LGBTQIA+ inclusive and champion marginalized voices. EVERYONE WELCOME... LETS HAVE A BLAST!

The Mooring Cafe is a very friendly venue, and has kindly put us up again - it is all one floor, and they do have a ramp to access for wheelchair users. However, though the toilet is downstairs, it isn't disability friendly/fully accessible as it is through a narrow corridor. Please email us at: [email protected] if this is a problem and we will do our best to find an alternative solution.
