The Tuesday and Wednesday nights tradition continues at the MoshPit in 2024 with Open Mic back from Wednesday 3rd January and Open Band from Tuesday 9th January.Free entry all night to both events.
Wednesday Open Mic - all acts are welcome - solo, duos, poetry readings, comedy acts, people who just want to have a rant, pretty much anything goes. Open to Solos / Duos / Bands / Music Comedy / Poetry / Karaoke / Variety / Experimental.
15 minute set for Music (2 - 3 songs including set up)
6 Minutes for Comedy and Poetry
2 song limit for Iphoneoke and Karaoke
Tuesday Open Band - dedicated to longer band performances from new and up and coming bands who want to have a hit out in front of an audience, maybe for the first time. Sets up to 30 minutes but shorter is fine too if you don't have enough material. Original music strongly encouraged but the odd cover is ok.
Just rock up and play, bring your guitars and keyboards. We have two Acoustic House guitars for you to use (left and right handed) as well as a full drum kit and cymbals, bass amp, guitar amp.
2 half price drinks for all performers.

Come early for our Happy Hour from 5pm with $5 schooners / $6.50 pints of Young Henrys Natural Lager - cold, crisp, clean and refreshing, and $5 glasses of house wine (red and white). Until 7pm.
