Autumn Ritual in the grove at 3 pm sharp!
Odyssean Wicca ritual format including some liturgy is standard for us (no, it's not Greek).
Meet us in the Grove for ritual if you don't see us at the pavilion
Picnic and maybe some drumming after - bring instruments.
Family friendly. Kids are welcome, as well as pets on leashes.
Please be considerate, Covid is not over, and is on the rise. We are still being careful even in circle.
Where: Osbornedale State Park in Derby in 'The Grove' hidden in the foliage across from end of the upper pavilion parking lot (the break in the trees to the left).
PICNIC
Please bring real food to share - potluck, please bring your own drinks and ice (no alcohol).
PLEASE BRING
Blankets to sit and dine on, your drum and musical instruments, folding chairs, sunscreen and bug spray. You may wish to bring a sturdy pair of shoes if you wish to explore the hiking trails - spray for ticks beforehand. Port-a-let by the parking lot. The lower facilities of the park are in working order if you need a full bathroom.
WEAR what you wish, dress for weather. Street clothes are fine.
MONETARY DONATIONS
Free (yes free) but donations will be accepted.
Nonperishable food items accepted for the homeless.
DIRECTIONS:
From Route 8 south:
Take Exit 17. Take a left at the end of the exit ramp. Take another left at the lighted intersection (Division Street) . Drive approximately ¾ miles. Osbornedale State Park will be on the right across from Derby High School. Bear right and follow to upper pavilion parking lot.
From Route 8 north:
Take Exit 18. Take a left at the end of the exit ramp. Drive approximately ½ mile. Osbornedale State Park will be on the right across from the Derby High School. Bear right and follow to upper pavilion parking lot.
Follow Google maps and you will arrive at the offices and not the park proper.
