All ages event. Signups start at 6pm. Music starts at 7pm.
Open Jam is an open mic with an addition of having a full band setup potential.
What does that mean?
It means comedians, poets, and all musicians have a place to come and show their skills.
The stage layout has a solid drumset, a couple electric guitars, bass, amps, monitors, etc.
Signup as a solo act, or part of the jam/backing band, and put your skills to the test.
It’s the perfect place for anyone who already goes to open mics, the drummer, shredder, or a band that wants to show what they’re about.
*backstory*
I was inspired by Daryl of Soulshine when I lived in Minot. He would host an event like this every Wednesday, and as a drummer, I improved tremendously over the years because I would show up and drum for all styles. It is my great pleasure to recreate that here in Fargo for all of the talented musicians we have.
