Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation opens its doors to kids(ages 8-18) and their adults. Join our instructors and leadership team as we take you on a tour of our sailing program facility. We are also offering kids a chance to experience sailing on one of our small sailboats!
ABOUT PCYF
Since 1992, the Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the community through the promotion and instruction of youth sailing in Channel Islands Harbor. We aim to develop good sailing skills, good overall seamanship and racing skills with a primary focus on water safety.
SUMMER PROGRAM: Sessions run June - August
Weekly sailing camp launches from PCYC on a fleet of Sabots, Opti’s, Lasers and FJ’s. 5:1 student to instructor ratio with USAA certified instructors.
Students gain life skills, independence, leadership, teamwork and problem solving, while boosting mental well being and self-confidence through physical activity. Sailing promotes interactions across generations and cultural backgrounds to build community through life-long connections in a common interest. We also promote increased environmental awareness and connection to natural resources.
