Every first Saturday of every month from 11am - 3pm, Stray Cat Alliance will be hosting an Open House where you'll be given a chance to learn about our programs and meet many new feline friends.
BEFORE YOU GO:
- Street parking is available.
- The entrance is on 11th street.
- If you were interested in fostering or adopting a cat, submitting your application ahead of time is advised.
PROGRAMS:
Our Adoptions program provides forever homes for cats and kittens found on the streets through TNR, impounded at the shelter, or from hotline requests for support when cats are faced with being taken to shelters or abandonment. Each cat and kitten receives veterinary care until a permanent, loving home is secured. For adoption related questions, please email us at [email protected].
Our Foster program provides a temporary home for many cats and kittens before they find their forever home. Whether your home is small or large, you live alone or have other animals, we have cats and kittens who need your help and will thrive under your care. If you have never fostered before, our team will guide you every paw print of the way. For foster related questions, please email us at [email protected].
Our Volunteer program is essential to Stray Cat Alliance's mission as we are not able to do any of our lifesaving work without our dedicated volunteers. Volunteering with us will not only allow you to find a network of great people and camaraderie, but you will experience an incredible feeling that comes with knowing you are making a direct difference in the life of a cat! IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Most of our kittens need to be adopted in pairs or into a home where there already is another cat or dog to be their friend. Many of our adult cats also enjoy other cats or dogs, so we would like for them to have a companion in their new home.
We do have cats that would be happy as an “only cat” and can provide a list to you.
If the description of the cat you’re interested in says s/he needs to be adopted with another specific cat, please understand that means they love each other very much and we will not split them up.
The adoption fee is waived for cats 10+ years old or who have special medical needs.
We do not have any hypo-allergenic cats. All of our cats are rescues and are not breed specific.
