Open Gardens - Wellington 2025

Saturday, 29th and Sunday, 30th June 2025

Back for its 4th year, Open Gardens Wellington is blooming bigger and brighter than ever! This year, we’re raising essential funds for Community Resource, a local charity dedicated to supporting Shropshire residents and communities facing challenges.

Over the weekend of 29th and 30th June, the welcoming communities of Wellington, Little Wenlock, and Rushton will open their beautiful, private gardens for you to explore. With support from Love Wellington, you’ll enjoy access to exclusive outdoor spaces, rich in colour and creativity, all in support of our local community.

🌱 Fresh Garden Line-up: This year’s event showcases seven stunning private gardens and includes favourites plus exciting new locations:

• National Trust’s Sunnycroft opens its picturesque grounds exclusively for our ticket holders
• New for 2025: Pinehurst, Little Wenlock

Returning gardens include: The Alley (Little Wenlock), Herbert Avenue, Upper Farm House (Rushton), Hampton Hill, Minsterley Close and Khan Close.

• Opening Times: Most gardens and the grounds of Sunnycroft are open from 11 am to 4 pm each day, with specific times marked on the trail map.
  
• Food & Refreshments: Many gardens will be offering refreshments such as tea, coffee, and cake, with all proceeds going to Community Resource. Look out for the designated gardens on the map to plan your refreshment stops!
  
• Local Discounts: The Wellington Orbit will offer a 10% discount to wristband holders

🎟️ Wristband Entry:

• £12 each, £20 for two, or £22 for families (2 adults and children)
• Each wristband includes a trail map, entry to all gardens, plus access to the grounds of the National Trust's Sunnycroft (worth £16 per adult alone).
  

📍 Where to Buy:

• Online: Purchase wristbands and maps via Eventbrite. Wristbands will be posted closer to the event.
• In Person: Available from The Orbit in Wellington from May.
