This is a first time open garden in Franklin. The garden is approx 2 acres and on a slope similar to Botanical gardens. There are beautiful garden rooms, cottage, Japanese, Fernery, grasslands, Rose garden, Alice in Wonderland garden and secret garden with lots more.There are water features, so children will need to be supervised. There are beautiful mosaic art works throughout the garden - mosaic bird baths, mosaic walls and lots more. Plenty to see as you wander around the grounds.
Also - plant stands, craft stand, Afternoon tea with goodies and a BBQ Sausage Sizzle.
AND a Huge Raffle.
PARKING: Drive to Franklin township foreshore area for parking and look for the Huon Valley Garden Club Flags. There is a free shuttle bus to the garden running constantly. It is a short 5min bus trip.
