Open for Business In-Person Networking Event

Location: NOTE: New Meeting Location at the CIBN | Space Central studio space in the lower level of 1609 - 14 Street Southwest, Calgary, AB, Canada

The event agenda is as follows but may vary as determined by the CIBN/CBN hosts:

Arrival after 5:00

Introductory Open Networking & Socializing 5:00 - 6:30

Round Table Introductions (2-5 minutes each)

Short business presentation or discussion 6:30 - 7:15

Q&A until 7:30

Studio Tour and Open Socializing 7:30-8:00

Space Central moved to a new building in November 2023. Current events may include a Podcast room demo, socializing, and networking. Food & Beverages may be provided by local sponsors or at a group discount rate of up to 10% per venue offerings when held at a third party venue location.

Price: Free for Members; Guests may register with either the Paid or Donation option (a $10+ suggested donation fee helps us to pay for hosting the event and room rentals, but any amount is appreciated).

The wait is over! We are very excited to start meeting new people, building relationships, and getting back to growing our businesses. As this is a regular networking event combined with the Canadian Independant Business Network (CIBN) and the Calgary Business Network (CBN), there may be one main presentation preceded by a 2-5 minute elevator pitch intro by everyone else. Depending on crowd size, we often have 2-10 minutes available for each person to go in-depth about themselves. Since it may have been awhile for most people, it may feel a little like the first day of school again. So much has changed in all of our lives since 2020 and it is now time to get back to business basics.

We host this regular in-person networking event which may include some open networking time, some sponsored goodies, a facility tour and demo of the in-house multimedia production studio, and/or a post-meeting social event in-house or at a local establishment.

We provide our members and guests with a continuous opportunity to build strong business relationships in fun & engaging ways.
