About this Event
Please consider joining us here at Bodhi Farms for a Fall inspired cooking class that is equal parts culinary experience + community equity activation.
In partnership with Bodhi Farms, Chef Eduardo Garcia, and The Gallatin Valley Food Bank, we are excited to offer this unique cooking class opportunity to upscale your flaky pie dough game, brush up on your dutch oven fire cookery and simply connecting over the fire and in person during a beautiful time of year.
The format will be a 4 hour deep dive into our local terroir and producers via a cooking session and hands on instructional workshop. Chef Eduardo will lead attendees through the basics and application of fire cooked pumpkins, nailing that perfect flaky pie dough and cooking it all in a dutch oven over the fire.
In this half day event, participants can look forward to a welcome lunch + a wrap up dinner so no one leaves hungry. And the imbedded equity activation is the sweetest part! With each ticket sold, we will be matching your activation with an equal food donation to our local Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Our donation will be made up of the very same curated ingredients we will be cooking with, eating in class and that you will be taking home as a part of your attendance. (There is an additional donation button when you buy your ticket if you choose to donate more to the Food Bank.)
In this unique experience to party for a purpose we endeavor to sellout on all 50 available seats and donate 50 lb of pumpkin, 50 lbs of bison and 50 lbs of milled flour, all grown here in Montana, for our Montana community!
In this expression we give gratitude to this special place were call home, the producers who grow or food, Highland Harmony Farms - Wheat, Amaltheia Dairy- Pumpkins and North Bridger Bison- Bison. And of course to you, our beloved community that tip this party into its purpose with your attendance.
