Meet your farmers and tour 4 family-owned farms on Sunday, Oct. 13 at Open Farm Tours!
These 4 farms require pre-registration and tickets are sold separately per farm.
One ticket admits one carload of up to 5 people!
Learn what is involved in growing our food and get a behind-the-scenes look into our region’s vibrant working agricultural landscape. Learn about how important sustainable farming methods are to the health of the Earth and our community.
Participate in farm activities, produce tastings, U-Picks, workshops, food preservation demos, kids crafts and more. Delicious food and beverages, fresh produce and flowers are available for purchase at the farms. Each farm has it's own unique character and specialty crops they grow.
Spend a fun filled day outside getting to know our farming community. Healthy food, farms and families is what we’re all about!

October 13 Participating Farms:
- olive grove - 3 tour times / 9-10:30am, 11-12:30pm, 1-2:30pm
Tour of the olive grove, olive oil tastings, olive curing presentation and demonstrations by farm manager Roger Wolfe who is a wealth of knowledge for making your own olives, oil and more. - - 2 tour times / 9:30- 12pm, 1:30- 4pm
Farm owners Andy Griffin and Starr Linden will be leading a guided tour of their lovely farm that grows many specialty crops year round for their markets & numerous restaurants that value exceptionally high quality produce. Their tour includes a110' Lavender Labriynth walk, marigold U-Pick and pumpkin craft activity.
Zea Sonnabend from will be giving heirloom apple and fig tastings.
Bethany owner of will have her wonderful cut flowers for sale, and bouquets for what's in season. Instagram Chef / , Aniko Ritchie will be selling her homemade items and Arne Carlson of will be selling his jams and other items sourced from local farms. Visit their farmstand for unique gift items and to purchase produce from the farm. - - 2 tour times - 10- 11:30am, 2:30- 4pm
Farmer Ryan will be giving guided tours of the farms pig and chicken livestock areas. Learn about raising chickens for egg production and animal husbandary. Goat petting zoo. 10% discount on farms meat and egg purchases. - - 1 tour - 10- 1pm
Farmer Dave Blume will be giving a three hour guided tour of of the greenhouses and distillery. Exotic produce tastings.
