Welcome to the Foróige Club Kilsheelan, Open Evening for Parents and prospective Volunteers!We invite you to attend an OPEN EVENING hosted by Maira King, Foróige Club Development & Support Officer and Claire Hughes, Foróige Club Leader.
🟣Join us at the KPLAN Kilsheelan Community Centre where you can learn more about how we can help create a safe and fun place for our teens to thrive!
😁Foróige clubs provide a fun, safe space for young people to learn, grow, and take action, with clubs shaped and led by the young people themselves in cooperation with trained adult volunteers.
WHY SETUP A FORÓIGE CLUB?
🌸 create a safe space for teens (13-18) to hang out
🌸 gain confidence
🌸 develop leadership skills
🌸 get involved in the community
🌸 all while having fun and making new friends in a supportive youth led environment
🌸 TRAINING PROVIDED:
Foróige offers several training programmes to its club members and volunteers, including
🟣 Starting out in Foróige
🟣 Child Protection Training
🟣 Leadership for Life - build confidence/communication skills
🟣 Citizenship - community involvement skills
IF YOU ARE:
