2431 (Keighley) Air Cadets are holding an Open Evening for parents and young people interested in joining.
The evening is designed to help potential cadets and parents fully understand what cadet life involves and what their child can gain from being part of the RAF Air Cadets.
During the evening, parents and recruits will have:
✔️A talk from our Commanding Officer outlining what the RAF Air Cadets offers and how young people are supported
✔️ A talk from our Civilian Committee Chair covering safeguarding, supervision, and how the squadron is run
✔️ Activity stations for recruits to take part in, giving them a hands-on taster of the activities we run including First Aid, Leadership and some Drill.
✔️ The opportunity to observe a normal parade evening, so you can see how evening is structured and meet other cadets and staff.
For those who decide to join, regular attendance will begin on Wednesday 4th March, during our usual parade times.
