Open Enrollment Kick Off - Community Learning Event and Press Conference

With HealthCare.gov Open Enrollment season starting November 1 and important federal policy changes in the works, it is that time again to get energized and ramp up our efforts to help our communities connect to coverage - whether that be Medicaid or the Marketplace during Open Enrollment.

The Milwaukee Enrollment Network (MKEN) and Covering Wisconsin are co-hosting a press conference and community learning event on November 4 at the Marcia P. Coggs Health & Human Services Center to kick off this Open Enrollment season and reinforce the urgency around Medicaid enrollment activities.

The Milwaukee Enrollment Network and Covering Wisconsin invite you to join us for a Community Learning Event, where you will:

• Enjoy free breakfast and music
• Learn about Medicaid policy changes and resources
• Learn about HealthCare.gov Open Enrollment (Nov. 1, 2025 - Jan 15, 2026)
• Learn about the local resources available to you and your clients to best connect them to enrollment support or insurance
• Learn how to best support our immigrant population during Open Enrollment
• Learn about trainings to better support your clients with their insurance enrollment
• Meet other representatives from community-based organizations
• Meet representatives from the Milwaukee Qualified Health Plans

Prior to the Community Learning Event, there will also be a press conference with local leaders, speaking about the importance of health insurance coverage.
