Self-directed parent and child play
First Floor Gallery
During August the Dreamer’s Space will remain open for self-guided and self-directed play each day. There will be no artist in the space during these times.
The Dreamer’s Space in the First Floor Gallery is an interactive exhibition by Corrina Askin where dreamers are invited to explore their dreamier side; make a dreamer’s stick, make a new word, shape it, knock it, spend time exploring, making and creating with provided materials in your own time, at your own pace and in your own way, with your family. The gallery also includes a specially created response area to our artist Eleanor McCaughey’s Ground Floor Gallery exhibition Whispers of rhythm balance on my hands

Dreamer’s Space is an Explore and Respond Space in our First Floor Gallery. With a mixture of self-led and artist led engagements, it allows visitors to explore the work in both gallery spaces for young people and young families throughout July 2024.
With a mixture of book-in sessions for all ages and self-led explorations for young people and families there is something for everyone to explore.
Register at the box-office for your FREE Dreamer’s Space Book that accompanies the interactive exhibition!
