Open Door HousingWorks provides resources for immediate basic human needs, educates and assists households to obtain and retain affordable permanent housing, and promotes client self determination to achieve a better quality of life for communities of Washington County and its surrounding areas.
Each day, our team works directly on the streets to deliver basic needs through outreach and shelter support, opening pathways to housing for individuals experiencing homelessness, and providing essential employment experience through workforce development programs. These services not only bring dignity and relief to those in need, but they also help reduce homelessness-related criminal activity and contribute to cleaner, safer neighborhoods for all.
