Are you a budding DJ and ready to move out of your bedroom? Well, this could be just what you've been waiting for.... It's Open Decks night at Village 512, your local queer bar and club!
We would like to invite you to bring your USB down to Village 512, bring yourself and bring some mates and come and show us what you've been doing in your bedroom (ooo errr!)
Village 512 is a queer space, and we want to encourage queer DJs and their allies, to come and play music in an open, supportive environment whilst having the opportunity to play on a big fat sound system and state of the art CDJs.
DJ's of all levels are welcome and we'll be here to give advice and tips on things like transitions, set building, effects etc to help you become a better DJ.
For people who are keen and ready, there may be the opportunity to play at other nights in the area too, so definitely worth coming along and showing us what you're all about.
There will be a sign-up sheet available on the night for anyone who wants to play a set and slots will be 30mins long.
This is your chance to meet, mingle and play with other DJs in a supportive bar / club environment in the heart of queer Dalston.
Everyone who plays will also be sent a recording of their set after the event for their own listening pleasure.

- Please bring photo I.D with you
- We have Pioneer CDJ3000's only
- We can only accept DJ's who have a USB formatted correctly and playlists organised in Pioneer Rekordbox
- Unfortunately we are unable to set up any other DJ equipment
- DJ slots are 30 minutes in duration
- Slots are given on a first come, first served basis on the night
