A community project exploring and celebrating Killearn’s natural history: a new wildlife website will be launched today and everyone is invited.The website features more than 150 species of mammal, bird, fish, insect, reptile, plant and fungus found in and around Killearn - and tells the tales of why they are of interest in our precious and unique local environment.

The citizen science project i-Naturalist will be demonstrated by the team.
Displays of wildlife photography by Killearn Natural History Photography group.
Children and the young-at-heart will be encouraged to take part in:
— an animal fancy dress competition,
— face painting
— puppet-making!
