On Saturday 20th September we would like to invite people from the community down to our 2nd Annual Open day at the Farnham road siteSome of the things we have planned for you whilst here:
- Sale of food and drink
- Chance to donate and purchase pet supplies
- Walk a dog with a volunteer
- Meet some friendly cats
- Meet the bunnies
- Find out how to choose us as your charity on the Pets At Home VIP App
- Site tours- by appointment only
- Games for kids and adults
- Information on how to apply to adopt animals
The tour will be appointment based and very limited due to health and safety and the welfare of the animals. This can be done via messenger/instagram etc. The times are:
11:30am
12:30pm
1:30pm
2.30pm
Important things to note.
Whilst on site, all members of the public will need to stay with an allocated staff member or volunteer. You will also be responsible for any children following any procedures set out by staff/volunteers.
If you are late or come down without having been spoken to on messenger then you will not be guaranteed to be allowed past reception/courtyard area however there will be things to do in these areas also.
Due to limited parking spaces we encourage people in the local area to consider walking or lift sharing etc, and people a bit further afield to consider taking the bus to Rye street and walking the further ten minutes if possible. If you have specific accessibility needs please call to discuss suitable access.
