As I'm preparing to say goodbye to the first home of my artistic makings and extensive art/craft supply collection, I would love nothing more than to open my doors to my family, friends and anyone else who would like to get a peek into this cozy space I have created over these last 6 months.So on the december 7th, I'll be ready with a little exhibition of what I've been doing, along with some snacks and beverages. You're welcome to join at any time, and please bring whoever you'd like!
Having this space to create has meant the world to me. I'm so sad that we have to leave, but it also goes to show how special it was. This space has given me the freedom to make my mess and create 3-5 things at once, without having to rotate materials on a tiny desk (as I had to do at home) and having to clean up before my daughter got home. This means that this space has always been ready to welcome me as soon as I walk through the door, ready to let my creative juices flow. I don't feel I'm anywhere near where I want to be as an artist, but I know for sure I'm on my path, and my lovely atelier has played a huge part in this.
