Calling all history buffs and foodies! Please join us for Open Archives Night on Wednesday, November 20th from 4:00 - 5:30 PM.At Open Archives Night, we invite you to interact with archives directly, becoming a historian yourself by making observations, discussing objects and records, asking questions, and thinking creatively about Fairhaven history. This is not an exhibit, but an opportunity to have hands-on experience with some of our lesser-known collections.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, come explore records related to the history of cooking and eating in Fairhaven. Flip through cookbooks made by local organizations, view pictures and ephemera from Fairhaven restaurants, and read through diary and journal accounts of times "around the table."
