Sculpt an Oogie Boogie Hat for Halloween! It can also be a Sorting Hat for Harry Potter fans! Add your own expression, stitches, and any other touches of your own. Use slab clay and hand building techniques taught by our experienced potters with step by step instruction. No experience needed! Choose from shapes and patterns to create your own style. Your piece will take time to dry. Then it will be fired in our kiln.Return after 2 weeks to paint your piece with colorful pottery glazes (no additional cost and no appt. needed). Then it goes into the kiln for a final firing so that it’s safe for indoors or out. Ready 2 weeks after glazing. You can even use a candle to illuminate it! Ages 8 and up welcome.
Note: This workshop is sculpting clay at a table, not on the pottery wheel.
