About the Programme/Event
Falls pose a significant risk to older adults, often resulting in serious injuries. This programme introduces Taichi as an effective method to reduce fall risk and improve overall health in the elderly population.
Taichi's gentle, flowing movements help strengthen muscles, improve joint health, and develop a keener sense of balance. These benefits directly address common causes of falls in older adults, including muscle weakness, poor balance, and low mobility confidence.
Key Benefits:
• Enhances balance and flexibility
• Improves fitness and muscular strength
• Boosts confidence in mobility
• Potentially prevents osteoarthritis
Participant Guidelines:
• Wear flat, comfortable footwear (e.g., walking shoes)
• Dress in comfortable clothing (e.g., T-shirts and trousers)
Join us to learn how Taichi can help you maintain your independence and improve your quality of life through better physical health and increased confidence in your daily activities!
