About the Meditation:
This session includes an introduction to the main principles of yoga as a spiritual path of awakening to the Divine within and without. Topics presented:
– “What is yoga?” Philosophy and Practice
– The laws of resonance and correspondence in yoga
– Chakras as physical, energetic, emotional mental and spiritual centers and levels of consciousness
– Sublimation of energy for the evolution of consciousness
– Body postures (asanas), breathing practices (pranayama), sense withdrawal from the external world (pratyahara), concentration (Dharana), meditation (dhyana) and Self-realization (Samadhi).
Participants will be guided through a yoga practice of body postures, breathing techniques, and guided meditation to harmonize the physical body, purify the energy channels and awaken the chakras, calm the emotions and stabilize the mind to experience inner peace and the expansion of the consciousness.
About Niya Roy:
Niya is a Sound healer, Hypnotherapist and Yoga Instructor at Illuminations Well-being Center. She aims to heal and empower her clients by transcending their physical and mental limitations through unconventional and holistic approaches to help them achieve their goals.
