Want to create works of art that draw inspiration from some the world’s most provocative artists, past and present? This course will take inspiration from the techniques, ideas and stories of modern and contemporary masters, and enrich our understanding of their approaches to painting. Through demonstrations and hands-on experimentation, students will learn both traditional (layering with glazes and textures) and experimental (pouring, printing, transferring, and staining) painting and mixed media techniques. Plenty of support and guidance will be available; all levels welcome.
About the Instructor: As a teaching artist with several degrees in visual art and education, Kevin Willson brings his passion for creativity, communication, and culture to students of all ages, ability, and learning interests.
Please note: If courses are purchased at member price, and membership is not active, you will be charged for the membership.
