Come explore the stillness and the challenge of Yin Yoga. As a practice that is lauded for its long juicy holds and mostly passive approach, Yin yoga not only supports a greater balance in the physical body, but also in the energetic, mental and emotional bodies as well. The idea is that if one is existing at some level of health and wellness, whether mentally, physically, and/or emotionally, then the unnecessary suffering in life shifts. That shift empowers a deeper contemplative practice, a greater willingness to inquire within, and a profound recognition of the power of compassion. Total 44 hours live online plus assigned independent study between sessions. Independent study will require approximately 4 hours monthly.
Prerequisites
To receive a Certificate of Completion, participants must provide either a verifiable 200-hour and/or a verifiable 300-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training certificate.
CEU
This program provides 44 contact CEU and 44 independent study CEU for Yoga Alliance registered teachers.
NOTE: Students who are not registered yoga teachers at the start of the training are still welcome to enroll as auditing students,
but they will not receive a Certificate of Completion at the conclusion of the program. There are no exceptions.
