About this Event
Join us on Wednesday 4th December at Yurakucho, Central for an Onikishi whisky dinner inspired by the Izakaya water-hole culture of Japan.
Enjoy an expertly crafted highball made with Onikishi Demon Knight whisky followed by free-flow of Onikishi Demon Knight whisky & an exclusive tasting of Onikishi Tenbatsu 12 YO whisky along with 10 delicious dishes made by the team at Yurakucho.
Yurakucho brings the timeless energy of Japan's izakaya water-hole culture to Hong Kong with a live robatayaki open-kitchen grill, Japanese highballs and cocktails, Japanese-style bites, and DJ-spinning soundtracks. The team bringing to life dishes that represent the hidden streets of gado-shita in Japan.
Onikishi whisky is produced in Hyogo Prefecture, home to Mount Kasagata where the clear spring water of the Noma River flows. This is also the birthplace of Japan. In mythology, Izanami and Izanagi created the world's first island starting from the Jingo Shrine, which is close to Awaji Island. This place also gives the perfect story background for "Ghost Samurai".
