For our July series, we’re excited to welcome Redmond Police Department Community Engagement Sergeant, Patty Neorr, and City of Redmond's Homeless Outreach Administrator, Tisza Rutherford. In this special event, our guests will chat about how the city of Redmond is working to tackle homelessness and promote safety in the business districts.

Speaker Bio:
Patty Neorr was hired in 1996 as a Redmond Police Officer. She has worked in patrol, detectives, where she specialized in crimes against persons, and training and recruitment. In 2014, she was promoted to Sergeant. She served as a patrol Sergeant, Bike Team Sergeant and currently is the community Engagement Sergeant. She supervises the CRO (Community Resource Officer), Crime Prevention Program Coordinator and the Volunteer Program Coordinator.
Sgt. Neorr has two boys, 13 and 15, and loves soccer and weightlifting. She spends most of her time watching her sons play sports. She is a native Washingtonian and grew up in the Covington area. She got her undergrad from Seattle University in Criminal Justice and has worked for RPD for 27 years.
Speaker Bio:
Tisza Rutherford has served as the City of Redmond Homeless Outreach Administrator since 2020. She holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling and Substance Use Disorder Professional licensure. She has over 20 years of experience as a Behavioral Health Clinician and Supervisor, treating chemical dependency and mental health disorders among adolescents and adults in both Colorado and Washington States. Most recently she served as Interim Executive Director for IKRON, before stepping back into her current role of direct service work assisting the community’s most vulnerable members.
