About this Event
To celebrate one year until the inaugural Yukon Fringe Festival, we are running a special teaser event!
The One-Year-Out Fringe-style Festival Teaser Event goes like this:
- We select ONE famous movie based on YOUR votes.
- Up to 6 different performing groups are each given a different segment of that movie.
- They reinvent and perform their scenes however they want—serious, silly, musical, puppet-show, shadow-play… anything goes.
- Then we stitch it all together for one epic live mash-up on stage!
The movie for this event: PRINCESS BRIDE (1987)!
A cult-classic tale of a farm boy turned pirate who must endure kidnappers, giants, swordfights, miracles, poison, and Rodents of Unusual Size to save his one true love.
Don't miss our themed selfie background and themed concessions!
Held in the theatre of the Beringia Centre. All ages welcome.
Doors @ 630pm.
Show starts @ 7pm.
