Nashville-based education technology company QuaverEd is premiering “One Step At a Time,” an original musical based on true stories that highlights the real challenges inside today’s schools.With direction from Nashville theater veterans Holly Shepherd and Brian Hull, the show follows a military family as they navigate a troubled middle school and the clash between two leaders trying to reform it.
Free preview performances will be held January 12–13, 2026, at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, giving the community (and local media) a first look before the full launch, as well as a chance to give feedback.
