Coming all the way to Dunedin for one night only! One Spirit Africa is an Afro-fusion band merging African and Western instrumentation.
Lead musician and vocalist Fred Kpakpo Addo is a well-known Ghanaian Master dancer, drummer, multi-instrumentalist and choreographer based in Victoria with over 25 years experience in drumming and dance. He is a Peace Ambassador that promotes peace through tradition. By popular demand, Fred is back in Dunedin to share his empowering and uplifting ancestral spiritual legacies to transform our beautiful natures into a peaceful realm of life through music and dance. Fred will be supported by Morgan Edwards on bass, Jorginho Sancof on guitar and Pmk on the drum kit.
This event is brought to you by local dance addicts Dancers Anonymous, who will be supporting One Spirit Africa with their favourite African music genres from all over the continent.
Shukuru's African Village will be in the kitchen keeping you fuelled up. Tanzanian queen Shukuru will be offering some of her famous snacks and drinks. For alcoholic drinks you can BYO as this is a licensed venue.
This event is open to all ages. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Ticket sales are limited so book your tickets in advance to ensure you don't miss out. Cash door sales are subject to availability.
