A fun introduction to pottery taster letting you try your hand at the potter's wheel
About this Event

LEVEL FUN/LEISURE:
This is a one-off class for anyone over 18 who has ever fancied trying out a bit of pottery having a go on the potter's wheel as a treat or trying it out before signing up for a course. It is for adults 18 and over only.

You will have 2 hours and 15 minutes on the wheel where we will show you how to centre and make a pot. At the end of the class you can chose colours for all your pots. They will be ready in about 4 weeks.

Small classes of 6 people max with two teachers.

Date: Saturday 24th January 2026 10.30am-12.45pm

Cost: 2 HOURS & 15 MINUTES of fun for just £80 INCL. ALL MATERIALS. COST INCLUDES FIRING FOR 1 POT. ALL ADDITIONAL POTS FIRED AT A COST OF £5 EACH.

Please note that all materials and firings are included. No nasty surprises at the end!

REFUNDS: *Please note that if you cancel 15 full working days (Monday-Friday) in advance then you will get a full refund. If you cancel between 15 full working days and the start of the class in advance then you will only get a 50% refund if someone else can be found to replace you. Please note that all refunds are minus Eventbrite fees which are non-refundable. Cancelations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. REFUNDS for groups of 3 or larger require 20 working days notice as it can be really difficult to sell on large numbers of tickets close to the date of the class. There are no transfers available for groups of 3 or larger.

CHANGING DATES OF YOUR CLASS: Please note that to transfer to a different date you must give 15 working days notice. You are bound by the above refund terms. We only allow one transfer. If you find you are unable to do the date you have transferred to but give 15 working days notice we will issue a refund instead of another transfer.

Please note that we are unable to offer refunds or transfers within the 15 working days notice period if you are having to self-isolate or develop Covid-19 unless someone can be found to replace you.
