Join the SIUE Friends of Theatre & Dance for a special one-night-only performance of Kevin Hofeditz's cabaret performance "When All The Songs Make Sense: An SIUE Love Story". An Edwardsville native, EHS Class of 1973, and a 1977 graduate of SIUE’s Department of Theater and Dance, Kevin has compiled a series of songs by Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Stephen Sondheim, Schmidt and Jones, Burt Bachrach, and others, that will, indeed, make sense to those who are now—or who ever have been—in love. Kevin will also be incorporating some numbers from his time at Edwardsville High School! This is a show you do not want to miss.“Kevin Paul Hofeditz’s original cabaret may be centered around his life story, but it’s one that every member of the audience can relate to and is entertained by. Full of comedy and heart, When All the Songs Makes Sense is a delight.” – Robert Rook, Managing Artistic Director, The Award-Winning TADA Theatre
“Brimming with wit and charm, Kevin shares lessons from his life with When All the Songs Make Sense. Professing this insight through the songs of Stephen Sondheim, Henry Mancini, and Michel LeGrand, among others, it seems as though Kevin’s journey as a teacher isn’t over just yet.” – Kara Walton, Sammons Center for the Arts
