Die Performance 1.000.000 ways to try and stop the rain wurde als Touchdown Dance Stück von Angus Balbernie kreiert, der gemeinsam mit dem blinden Tänzer Stuart Jackson auf der Bühne steht. Angus und Stuart sprechen von Dunkelheit und Licht von Stille und Lärm, von ihren Träumen und manchmal auch von Eulen. Die Performance ist ein improvisiertes Experiment und stellt Fragen zu den Themen „Anderssein“ und „Älterwerden“.
The performance 1,000,000 ways to try and stop the rain was created as a touchdown dance piece by Angus Balbernie, who performs on stage together with blind dancer Stuart Jackson. Angus and Stuart speak of darkness and light, of silence and noise, of their dreams and sometimes of owls. The performance is an improvised experiment and poses questions on the themes of “otherness” and “ageing”.
