We invite experienced contact improvisation dancers enthusiastic to dive deep, dance daily and co-create a field of research and exchange based in self-responsibility and a passion for the practice.
Join us on the island of Koh Phangan for a 3-week journey of jamming to share our practices in a supportive, explorative atmosphere.
We have 50 spots available. If you genuinely feel called make sure to apply sooner rather than later.
๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐:
Each day, we will gather for 3-hour sessions to dance, either in the morning or evening, and flow into reflections and discussions about the research that emerged.
Each week we will harvest from our conversations and will evolve our explorations for the following week, inviting a responsive structure that takes shape with each participant's contributions and curiosities.
Alongside jamming, we will incorporate space for labs and research, performative sharing and more if the group feels inspired to expand.
We are also fortunate to have the turquoise waters of the topical island to hold us for water jams and practice.
The experience will be further enriched by open โisland jamsโ held 3-4 times weekly. These sessions open up the unique opportunity to connect with the wider Koh Phangan CI community and share the journey beyond our group.

We recommend booking via Airbnb or booking platforms in advance, or check the various Facebook housing pages as the island tends to fill up during the season.
We might have some camping spots available on a breezy jungle hilltop. Please indicate if you are interested.
