One Health 2024: We Mean Business Conference

Bournemouth University is set to host the ground-breaking showcase conference ‘One Health 2024: We Mean Business’ on 10 July at Bournemouth University, Gateway Building, BH8 8GP.

Aimed at:

· Businesses looking to develop innovative products and services in human, animal, plant, or environmental health.

· Business leaders from any sector pioneering the next generation of green products; wanting to explore ways they can contribute to meeting global challenges, including from aerospace, marine, or construction, etc.

· Universities and agencies with an interest in enabling businesses to design innovative products following a responsible research approach, drawing on a broad range of expertise.

· Anyone with an interest in the ‘One Health’ approach to innovation.

‘One Health 2024: We Mean Business’ Conference programme* will include:

· A Marketplace: the day will start with the opportunity for businesses to share their latest innovations.

· Keynote speakers: will address key themes such as sustainable enterprise, human health innovation, environmental resilience (includign biodiviersity and plant health), and human health.

· Rolling-masterclasses: covering enterprise and innovation strategies, grant funding and global opportunities.

· Open mic session: a chance for innovators and an in-depth exploration of funding opportunities in the health sector

· Closing session: discussing the future objectives of the One Health Enterprise Network

· Networking: during the day, there will be ample opportunities for networking, interacting with marketplace exhibitors, and enjoying tea and coffee breaks.

The Bournemouth University Gateway building is very close to Bournemouth Station which has excellent train and bus links. Please use public transport where you can.

There are public car parks at Cotlands Road, BH1 3BG and at Madeira Rd, BH1 1QQ.
