Welcome to One Happy Mama's Black Maternal Health Week Block Party 2024!
Join us for a fun-filled day celebrating Black maternal health at the University of Holy Cross. This in-person event will feature a DJ, live entertainment, Kid Zone, fireside chats, and more!
Connect with other mamas, learn from health experts, and enjoy a day of community and support. Let's come together to celebrate and uplift Black mothers and families!
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: EVERY attendee aged two and older must register.
Food: Food Trucks will be on site. The first 300 guests will receive a food ticket to redeem a meal. Additional food available for purchase.
Swag Bags: The first 250 guests will receive a swag bag.
Diaper and Wipes Giveaway: Every guest will receive a free pack of diapers and wipes, and there will be raffles and other giveaways.
Family Mini Photo Shoot: Tadoll Studios will be capturing mini maternity and family portraits
KidZone: The kid zone will include a bounce house, obstacle course, performance by Bamzy Baby and much more.
Merchandise: One Happy Mama and One Happy Kid merchandise will be available for purchase.
Items to bring: You can bring lawn chairs, strollers, yoga mats, towels, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Water will be provided on-site, but you may also bring your water bottle. Feel free to bring your own food and snacks.
Prohibited Items: Please do not bring pets, glass containers, weapons, tents, grills, or alcoholic beverages. Service animals are permitted.
Parking is limited. Pregnant and newborn families will have priority parking while available. Free street parking is available near the university.
Covid-19 protocols: Wearing a mask, hand washing, and social distancing are encouraged.
Rain or Shine: This event is rain or shine. In the event of rain, the Block Party will be moved inside the Moreau Center.
