About this Event
Be part of a different kind of conversation as we explore together how the Bahá’í spiritual teachings offer inspiring and practical ways to think about the principle of the oneness of God.
Some concept of the divine – whether referred to as “God”, “Creator”, or a “Higher Power” – can be found across most cultures and societies. Is it possible that these diverse traditions and perspectives have all been referring to a single God, known by different names at different times in different parts of the world? Are these various belief systems actually complementary rather than in conflict with one another?
In a conversation that is free and open to all, we will explore the Bahá’í Teachings on the common station and purpose shared among the divine educators who provide spiritual teachings to move humanity to new horizons.
What to Expect?
After a brief introduction, we will examine a short selection of readings from the Bahá’í Writings as a jumping off point for what is sure to be a lively discussion exploring the oneness of God and unifying message of the Prophets and Faiths across the world. We will also have some time together to explore more deeply the Bahá’í Teachings, so join us with your questions, thoughts, and a desire to connect with others in your area who want to explore this topic as well!
“The Revelation of God may be likened to the sun. No matter how innumerable its risings, there is but one sun, and upon it depends the life of all things.” - The Bahá’í Writings
