One Forest, One Future, One Community: Honoring the Land, Uniting Communities and Shaping the Future with Yukon Forestry and Biomass will be held October 7–8, 2025 at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon.
This landmark conference will bring together First Nation Development Corporations, government funders, forestry operators, bioenergy innovators, and community leaders to explore opportunities for sustainable forestry and biomass in the Yukon.
Through keynotes, panel discussions, and case studies from across the North, participants will:
- Connect directly with federal program leaders and funding opportunities.
- Learn from real success stories in Indigenous- and community-led biomass projects.
- Explore how local forestry and bioenergy can create jobs, strengthen energy security, and keep revenues circulating in Yukon communities.
With an opening reception, cultural displays, and an optional field tour, this event is designed to spark collaboration and shape the next chapter of Yukon’s forest and bioenergy future.
