About this Event
Designing for a single product is challenging enough, but what does it take to design for an entire sector?
Join us for an insightful evening with speakers from Government Digital Service (GDS) as we explore how design systems can scale across organisations, services, and teams while remaining usable, accessible, and human-centred.
🎤 Speakers
Imran Hussain
Community Designer, Government Digital Service
Imran is a community consultant with over 10 years’ experience building communities across different sectors. He believes communities can be a force for good and is passionate about supporting those that have a positive impact on public life.
At GDS, Imran works on creating the right conditions for a thriving community around the GOV.UK Design System, helping teams collaborate, share learning, and design better public services together.
Trang Erskine
Lead Product Manager, GOV.UK Design System – Government Digital Service
Trang leads the product team responsible for building and maintaining the GOV.UK Design System, enabling teams across government to design and develop consistent, usable, and accessible services.
She has a strong interest in systems thinking — understanding complex parts and making them work together as a coherent whole — and will share insights into how product, design, and governance come together at scale.
