About this Event
ABOUT CLASS:
In this one-off class, performers will dive into the art of creating and developing distinct, dynamic characters through improv. Designed to help individual performers find, develop, and hone their unique comedic voices, this bootcamp will focus on quick character generation, physicality, and emotional commitment.
Students will explore how to bring specificity and depth to their characters, create clear points of view, and sustain those choices throughout scenes. Through a series of interactive exercises, students will learn to break out of their comfort zones and sharpen their instincts, building a versatile toolkit for character work that can be applied to improv, sketch, or scripted performance.
Length: Session is 3 hours, and meets for 1 time only in Los Angeles.
