About this Event
One Brain was designed in Bristol by a group of senior trainees and consultant Neuroanaesthetists with an interest in the safe management, stabilisation and transfer of neurosurgical emergencies in the acute, perioperative and postoperative period.
This course is evidence based, peer reviewed and structured around the RCoA and NASGBI curriculum and guidance on emergency management of the neurosurgical patient.
Our mission is to improve the knowledge, skills and performance of all practitioners involved in the management of the neurosurgical patient.
The course is lecture and simulation based, and aims to clarify, consolidate and enhance the practice of management of the neurosurgical patient.
Lectures are delivered by Regional and National experts in the fields of Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Neuroanaesthesia and Neuro Intensive Care.
Simulation is employed as a tool to reinforce the knowledge, skills and attitudes, including human factors, required for safe practice in management of the neurosurgical patient.
This course is part funded by School of Anaesthetics, Severn Postgraduate Medical Education
