This VHSL (yup VHSL) event features high school theater departments produce a short play, or "one-act," and enter a competition that moves from district to regional and then state levels. These competitions allow students to showcase acting, directing, technical theater, and playwriting skills in condensed theatrical performances.....and did we mention that they are directed by high school students.
