About this Event
Oncourse Club is a community of businesses & professional service firms who want to build high-quality relationships that are hard to build at normal networking events.
Monthly meetings involve informal conversations over a hot drink, before relationship building during nine holes of texas-scramble (team) golf, followed by more conversations over a hot drink & breakfast roll. And all before 11am.
How do we know it works?
Since we started the community in 2007, the largest introduction between two members was a contract worth £1,600,000.
Where are the monthly meetings held?
Meetings are held at golf clubs to create the environment for strong relationships to be developed.
What format are the monthly meetings?
We start each meeting with ‘relaxed’ conversations over a hot drink. Followed by nine holes of texas-scramble (team) golf. Finishing with ‘relaxed’ conversations over a hot-drink & bacon roll.
Do member organisations need to attend each month?
Whilst it works best if you send someone each month, there are several member organisations who can't send someone each month.
Do attendees require experience of golf?
No!... the texas-scramble (team) golf means that no experience of golf is required.
How are member organisations selected for the community?
Organisations are invited to become members based on their ability to give, receive and service introductions. Not their golfing ability!
Who attends the monthly meetings?
Attendees are typically directors/partners who have the ability and desire give and receive introductions, either personally or via colleagues in their organisation.
What types of organisations are represented in the community?
Accountancy, Banking, Law, Insurance, Insolvency, IT, Stockbroking, Telecoms, Wealth Management, etc, etc.
Can businesses try without committing to long-term membership?
Yes, organisations can try membership for one month, without needing to commit to ongoing membership.
When are meetings?
Meetings are every month, and finish by 11:00.
How flexible is membership?
Membership allows anyone from the organisation to attend.
How do businesses pay?
Membership is paid by monthly subscription.
Can businesses have multiple memberships?
Yes, businesses can take multiple memberships subject to availability.
Is sponsorship an option?
Yes. Please ask for details.
How easy is it to terminate membership?
Very. Businesses can terminate at any time. We just ask for 1 month notice.
What next?
Either book to attend one meeting as a non-member to try it out, or let us know if you would like to join the community, or if you have any questions.
