The Gardiner Library will be hosting an unforgettable evening of mystery, cocktails, and community support at Once Upon a Crime: An Evening with Local Authors, taking place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the historic Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery in Gardiner.
This exclusive in-person fundraiser features a panel discussion and meet-and-greet with three acclaimed Hudson Valley true crime and mystery authors:
· Jodé Millman – Award-winning author of The Queen City Crimes series, IP attorney, and creator of The Writer’s Law School. Her work has earned Clue Awards, Independent Publisher Awards, and more.
· Alison Gaylin – Edgar and Shamus Award-winning author, known for her bestselling thrillers and contributions to Robert B. Parker’s Sunny Randall series.
· Carol Goodman – New York Times bestselling author of 27 novels, including The Lake of Dead Languages and The Night Visitors, and a two-time Mary Higgins Clark Award winner.
Guests will enjoy craft cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while mingling with the authors, followed by silent and live auctions offering one-of-a-kind goods and experiences.
